About Insane Erik Lane
Erik started in radio while in 10th Grade & worked in through his high school years & went on to attend Arkansas State University. After graduating, he moved to PA where he worked for stations in St. Marys, State College, & Lewistown. Currently, he hosts "The Rooster Crew" on Star Country 96.7FM in Lewistown, PA.
It was while Erik was hosting the morning show at Star Country’s “sister station”, WCHX, that a perceptive listener from Mifflin County gave him the nickname, “Insane” Erik Lane. A broadcasting veteran, Erik's voice has been on the air since 1979. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Station Management from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro and has been married since 1997 & has 2 sons.
